Leading Denture Clinic Sees Strong Growth Thanks to Strategic SEO
Client’s competitors consisted of rival denture clinics as well as dentists, who also provided dentures, repairs and realignment services to patients.
Challenge
When the client first came to us back in 2017, their website was threadbare, and there certainly wasn’t any ‘SEO’ to speak of.
Solution
The first task involved creating a worksheet that designated pages to each type of denture and service that the client offered, along with standard pages such as the home, about, contact page and so on.
Keyword research was then performed, and keywords were mapped to each of these pages, before keyword optimised titles, descriptions and headings were also created. Once the keywords had been determined for each page, it was then time to create the written content with the help of the client. The content was then added to each page, supported by client-supplied images, before a full site audit was conducted to ensure that no lingering technical issues were present.
At this point, well-written content had been added to each of the client’s pages. However, many of the client’s existing rivals who were dominating the organic search results, already had content that was of a similar standard, so we knew that the client’s content alone was not going to be enough to guarantee the results that we were looking to achieve.
It was at this point that a link building strategy was put in motion, to help the client obtain powerful backlinks that would strengthen the ability of their website to rank for keywords that were most important to their business. Backlinks were built to the client’s website on a monthly basis, resulting in a steady increase in rankings.
Outcome
In SEO, achieving high rankings for keywords is not enough. Short term gains are effectively worthless. In order for those rankings to translate into tangible results for clients, those rankings need to be maintained.
When SEO Web Logistics commenced work on this Gold Coast denture clinic’s SEO campaign back in 2017, the world of SEO was a very different place. Since then, search engines such as Google have made it increasingly difficult for websites to rank well, particularly for those operating businesses in fields that Google terms YMYL (Your Money or Your Life). This essentially encompasses businesses in the financial and health sectors. Dentures most certainly do affect a person’s quality of life, so our client is included in the YMYL bracket.
